HIRING NOW! Your seasonal, sylvan dream job awaits at Virtue Cider, located in Fennville. We’re a 48-acre farm that is home to our cider making operation, our taproom and bottle shop, an array of trails and gardens, and our heritage breed animals. We’re looking for an elevated service style to present proper knowledge of our cider and seasonal menu, while being able to uphold an expression of genuine hospitality. Individuals with high volume experience are preferred, and weekend availability is a must. Here’s what you’ll get out of this seasonal job: The tips are BIG. We’re a premier, yet laidback tourist destination & guests are generous. High starting hourly, too. This is not a late night grind, you will be out the door before it is dark. You’ll work with an amazing tight-knit crew. Passionate and professional. Your life will be enhanced by learning about, serving and drinking our world-class ciders. Generous monthly cider allotment and shift drink policy. Seriously, you’ll be working in a rural paradise. A cramped office job or traditional restaurant can’t compete. Here’s what we need: 1+ years serving experience Must have current alcohol server certification Must be legal drinking age Friendly, people person with team player attitude True providers of hospitality and cider knowledge Ability to represent oneself and the cider appropriately by keeping positive through high volume shifts Your ability to stand & walk (most of it outside) for long periods of time, lifting of up to 50 lbs on occasion Ability to work in a high-volume setting, which requires repetitive motion, attention to cleanliness & detail, efficient use of POS, and organizational habits All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
